Laura M. Miranda, Esq., represented an SEC Compliance Officer charged in Federal Court with making False Statements about Financial Holdings.  He was also investigated for Insider Trading.  Due to Ms. Miranda's preparation & persuasion skills her client, facing 15 years in prison if found guilty, was NOT charged with Insider Trading, and Laura M. Miranda, Esq., obtained a DISMISSAL of the fraud charges.  The case was Dismissed & Sealed.

From 2012 to 2014, Laura M. Miranda, Esq., aggressively defended Notorious Narcotics Trafficker "Sebastian", one of the most wanted criminals, accused of running Colombia's "Oficina de Envigado", originally Pablo Escobar's drug trafficking operation. Ms. Miranda traveled to Medallin, Colombia, to investigate the charges and visited her client in Boyacá prison.

In Kings County Supreme Court, Ms. Miranda  defended a young Latino man assaulted by the Bangledeshi community, yet charged with 2nd Degree Murder .   He was found "Not Guilty" of Murder & Manslaughter and convicted of Gang Assault.  In NYC, Laura M. Miranda, Esq., defended the Yoga Instructor accused of killing his ex-girlfriend, a dancer from Ohio who had relocated to NYC to begin her dance career but found herself working at a Gentlemen's Club.

In Brooklyn, 4 men were charged with committing a Robbery at Kings Highway Deli, where there was video footage of the alleged crime. Laura M. Miranda, Esq., defended 3 of the men and persuaded the arraignment Judge to Release her Clients with No Bail set.  Laura M. Miranda, Esq., promptly visited the scene of the alleged crime and interviewed witnesses.  The charges were eventually Dismissed & Sealed.
